This is photographed near Krushevo, Macedonia at a place called Bear's Rock. The big lights down there are from Prilep and the others are from some smaller villages :)

Wow!
Amazing shot!
Actually I'd really love to buy some day Nikon D800, so as I can see, it's almost noise free even at ISO 6400.
Are you satisfied with camera?
Beautiful.

Thanks, I'm glad you like it
I'm more that satisfied of D800. It is more than I expected when I bought it. Just I'm not satisfied of that Sigma 10-20 lens because it is for DX sensor. I hope I will buy 14-24mm F2.8 soon, so then I will be fully satisfied :D
You won't regret if you bought D800. You can't find better camera at the moment for landscape and non high-speed photography

have a nice day

I believe so, I've watched many reviews plus read and they are all saying that it's purely spectacular camera and yes, it's definitely more than anyone expected, seems to me.
:) Even that camera with 18-300 lens would be just perfect for stars and landscapes! What do you think?

Have a nice day also!

If 18-300mm is a FX lens, that it should do the work.. but for night and stars you need to have some F2.8 lens..that mine Sigma is f4-5.6 and it isn't that good
