I like the placement in this. The dock and the boat both being two points of interest make it look like there is some significance to both. Like someone on the dock watched something happen to someone in the boat. Or vice versa. The black and white adds to the "memory" feel. I also like the details of the scene you captured, like the dock, the rocks, and the sea.
